Bean Burger
Today I have my favorite burger patties for you. I've been making bean burgers for years and am always thrilled with them. The patties were perfect and once the grill was on, we grilled the vegetables on it too.
Recipe for 3 (approx. 190g patties)
Ingredients:
- For 3 burger patties:
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 60 g oat flakes (tender)
- 1 onion
- 25g flour
- 1 clove of garlic
- oil for frying
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vegetable broth
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp caraway
- Salt pepper
Topping:
- As desired: grilled vegetables (peppers, zucchini, onions), tomato spread, vegan mayonnaise
Aside from that:
- Burger buns
Preparation:
1. Mash or mix kidney beans into a mass
2. Add all other ingredients and knead into a dough. Let rest for 5 minutes and form patties.
3. Heat up the contact grill, brush with a little oil and fry the patties. Alternatively, the patties can also be fried in a pan
4. Top the burger as desired
