Katsu Chicken with A Hearty Curry Sauce
Recipe
Curry:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 small yellow onions (sliced)
- 1/4 large Honey crisp apple
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 1.5 tbsp Curry powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 Chicken boullion cube
- 1” ginger (grated)
- 3 garlic cloves
- Add 1-2 tbsp oil if needed to sauce above ingredients
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 3.5 cups water
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp White pepper
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt (to taste)
Chicken Katsu:
- 2 Chicken breast
- Salt & pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Panko
- Oil (for frying)
Garnish:
- Jasmine rice
- Scallions/green onion
- Sesame & black seed
