Lamb Chops
If you wish, you can make the same recipe using chicken cutlets. You can use tail fat instead of butter. I cooked it in the tomato's own juice without adding any sauce. The bread tasted like a dip and Turkish delight. If it is for a special guest, you can prepare portions in casseroles. Its presentation becomes more elegant.
Recipe is for 4 people
Materials:
- 780g Lamb Chops
- 2-3 onions
- 4 Tomatoes
- 7 green green peppers
- 3 capia peppers
- 1 head of garlic (I recommend with plenty of garlic)
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1.5 teaspoons of red pepper powder
- 1.5 teaspoons of black pepper
- salt, thyme
- butter
Preparation:
First of all, take olive oil, red pepper powder, black pepper and salt in a suitable bowl. Mix well and mix well into the chops. Leave it in the refrigerator, covered, for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the tomatoes and slice them into rounds. Divide green and capia pepper into 3-4 pieces. Peel the skins of a head of garlic. A suitable tray or cast iron tray is greased with butter. First, add onion, sliced tomato and then capia pepper. The ingredients are spread on the tray, overlapping each other. Salt is sprinkled on it. Then add green pepper and garlic. Marinated Chops are placed side by side on top. Place a piece of butter on each cutlet. If you can find it, be sure to add tail fat. Sprinkle a little thyme on it.
Cover it with wet wax paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. At the end of the time, uncover it and cook for another 15 minutes.
Enjoy!
