Maple Syrup Bread

Minimum effort with maximum pleasure. My version of Maple Syrup Bread AKA the best maple bread I have ever made.

Maple Syrup bread:
- 5 x 9 Loaf pan

Ingredients:
- 350 g all-purpose flour (2 ⅓ cups)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 fresh orange juice (could use also water or milk)
- 1 cup canola oil (or butter)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup maple syrup
- ⅓ cup chopped walnuts

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a mixer, beat the eggs and sugar for a few minutes at maximum speed. Add the oil and whisk briefly to combine.
- Add the flour and baking powder and beat slowly until there are no lumps.
- If you add walnuts, add the walnuts into the batter now (I added it after the baking, on top of the cake).
- Add the orange juice and whisk slowly to combine.
- Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes, until golden (until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean).
- Cool, use a fork and gently make small holes in the cake and add the walnuts.
- Pour the maple over and serve.

- Tip for serving: add butter on top of the cake.

Enjoy!
